  1. What is the reason for the failure of vacuum sealing for wet food?

There are several reasons for the inability to vacuum seal: 1. The vacuum sealer does not have the “Wet vacuum seal” or “Moist” mode, which means that the vacuum sealer will fail to seal when sealing wet food.

  1. Food contains too much water, such as watermelon. Because of the excessive moisture, the vacuum sealing machine will keep vacuuming when pumping the vacuum, and cannot enter the sealing stage. Or too much moisture will accumulate and stay at the heating wire, resulting in insufficient heating wire temperature, so the sealing is not successful.

 

Solution:

Wet food refers to food with a small amount of water (no clear flowing liquid), such as fresh meat, shrimp, fruits, vegetables, etc. When vacuum sealing this kind of food, you should choose the “Wet Vacuum seal” or “Moist” mode, so that the seal can be completed well.

If it is vacuum-sealed marinated meat (because the marinated meat will have a lot of flowing liquid), it is recommended to use the “control” mode, you can manually control the vacuum, when the oil and water are close to the sealing bag opening, select ” single seal” for sealing.

If there is a large amount of flowing liquid, it is recommended to directly press the single seal key to seal the storage.

 

  1. After vacuum-sealed fresh fruits and vegetables are placed at room temperature for a week. There is a small amount of water vapor in the vacuum bag, which looks like the original vacuum-sealed bag like to leak, and the color of the fruit surface is not fresh. What is the reason?

After vacuum-sealing the fresh fruits and vegetables for one week, there was moisture in the vacuum bag, and the color of the fruit surface was not fresh. This results in the fruits and vegetables being stored at room temperature after being vacuum-sealed. After photosynthesis, the fruits and vegetables will release some oxygen.

 

Solution:

Although in theory, food in a vacuum state can be stored indefinitely, it also depends on the packaging material, packaging, and storage conditions. Therefore, after vacuum-sealing fresh fruits and vegetables, it is recommended to store them in the refrigerator. Make the storage time of fruits and vegetables longer.

 

  1. After being stored in a vacuum seal for some time, it was found that the vacuum bag was not in a sealed state and leaked. How is this going?

This situation is caused by inadequate sealing, or it may be that the heating wire temperature is not reached due to the low voltage during sealing, which leads to the sealing good of the bag. When the sealing was just completed, it felt that the sealing was a success, but the actual temperature may not be enough, and the sealing was not completed in a small area. Because of this small opening, it was found that the vacuum bag leaked after a period of storage.

 

Solution:

It is recommended to choose a vacuum sealing machine with a heating wire of 3mm or more when purchasing. At present, Hongkai already has a vacuum sealing machine with a heating wire of 4mm to choose from.

 

  1. After sealing the mouth several times, it suddenly cannot be sealed, or the sealing bag was fused. What is going on?

It suddenly can’t seal. This is because the overheating protection function is activated in the vacuum sealing machine, which causes the machine to stop working.

The sealing bag was fused, mainly because the temperature of the heating wire was too high after several consecutive sealings, which caused the sealing bag to be fused.

 

Solution:

  1. When continuous use is required, wait 20 seconds after each use before sealing.
  2. If the sealing bag was fused, let the machine cool for 90 seconds when performing the next vacuum sealing.
  3. When purchasing a vacuum sealing machine, choose a vacuum machine that can be continuously sealed. Hongkai’s vacuum sealing machine series all support continuous sealing without melting the bag.

 

  1. Neither vacuum seal nor single seal can work, what’s the matter?

If there is no vacuum or continuous vacuuming, it does not jump to the sealed state. Need to check 1, whether a vacuum bag is used. Vacuum bags with smooth two sides are not supported. 2. Check whether the bag itself is broken.

If it is not sealed, first check whether the opening of the bag is completely put into the vacuum chamber, visually check whether the upper and lower foams are deformed or fall off, and reconfirm whether the bag is flat.

 

Solution:

  1. Put the opening of the bag into the vacuum chamber.
  2. Use a vacuum bag.
  3. When sealing sharp food such as bones, it is recommended to remove the sharp part before vacuum sealing.
  4. Lay the bag flat, without wrinkles, sundries, and hard objects at the mouth of the bag. Before sealing wet food, keep the mouth of the sealed bag free of water droplets.
  5. Install the dropped foam. Please replace the damaged foam.

 

If you try the above problems, the vacuum sealer still does not work. That means your vacuum sealing machine is broken. It is recommended that you replace it with a new one.

 

  1. All operations are performed by the instructions, but still cannot be sealed successfully, what’s the matter?

If you encounter this problem, please check the voltage marked on the back of the machine. There are many sealing machines on the market with narrow voltage, which means that they can only support one voltage. If the voltage exceeds or falls below the marked voltage, the product may not be used normally.

 

Solution:

It is recommended that when purchasing a vacuum sealing machine, choose a wide-voltage sealing machine, that is, the voltage label is 100-240V.
